Question by c-limeade: What is a good credit repair company?
I am aware that I can do this myself but I don’t have time to do it myself. Can anyone refer me to a good legit credit repair service. This question is ONLY for people who have used a credit repair service so please don’t answer if you haven’t used one. I don’t have whatsoever bankrupt or liens or anything that serious, but I do have a lot of collection, late payments, 1 charge off, and 1 repossession and a lot of inquires.

To the extent that whatever firm is reputable, I hear the Lexington Law Firm is fairly decent. All the can do is request validation and hope that they tinned’t be validated.—————————————-No one has “insider” knowledge to take accurate negative info off your credit files….. There is, however, one fob that “may” help to remove negatives from your credit files. You don’t have to pay anyone to do this.Per the Fair Credit Reporting Act you have the compensated to request scripted validation of negative entries on your credit files. Per this law they must validate the item(s) within 30 days or remove them from your credit file. Mail a letter via certified mail with return receipt to all three credit bureaus (Equifax, TransUnion & Experian). Include a photocopy of your driver’s license and social security card…If you don’t include these, they may write back requesting them, which would slow the process down by several weeks. For each negative item, write a separate earn and simply include the phrase:Per the Fair Credit Reporting Act, I am requesting written validation of this item.Do this one at a time for each negative entry….DO NOT request validation for all items at one time. There is NO guarantee that this will serve….It may give some nice results. The whip that can happen is that all negative items come back verified.
